PADI Open Water Diver Course in Phuket, Thailand
You always wanted to take scuba diving lesson; The PADI Open Water Diver is the first step of your scuba diving education. This is the most popular and recognizes diving certification worldwide.
To join an PADI Open Water Diver course, you must be at least ten years old; You need adequate swimming skills (you must be able to swim 200m and to float 10 min on the surface in deep water) and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required, but you can try it first through the Discover Scuba Diving program.
As a PADI Open Water Diver you will be qualified to:
- Dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18m.
- Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in other diving activities as long as they have the required supervision
- Continue your dive education and enroll the PADI Advanced Open Water Course and some specialty courses.

What Will you Learn?
You learn the basics you need to dive in autonomy with a buddy. The Open Water course consist of three main phases:
Knowledge development (online, independent study or classroom) to understand the basics principle of scuba diving, you cover five chapters with book and video.
Confined Water (swimming pool or similar conditions) to practice scuba skill and develop more confidence. You will cover five sessions of competencies.
Open Water 4 dives you will review skills and apply them to the exploration on the coral reef during two days.
We will provide all the necessary scuba gear you’ll use including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD) that carry your tank, depth gauge, and pressure gauge. You may want to invest your mask, snorkel and fins since this personal item is much more fun to use if they fit you properly.
